Zhangjiajie is a small town located in Hunan province. Its location far from any famous spots, makes it a rare destination for most travelers, but its beauty could easily knock you out and leave you speechless in the Land of Dragons.

Zhangjiajie National Park covers 11900 acres. But it is just one of the four zones that make up the 397-square-kilometer Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site inscribed in 1992 and a UNESCO Global Geopark listed in 2004. (The other three are the Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, the Suoxiyu Natural Resource Reserve, and the Yangjiajie Scenic Area.)  

The park is known for its exquisite forests, odd shaped peaks and rocks, limestone caves and breath taking views. As one of China's most beautiful natural reserves, Zhangjiajie has wonderful hiking trails and astounding views. The "Hallelujah Mountain" was named in honor of the James Carmeron 2009 film and were used as inspiration by the film director for scenes in the movie "Avatar." With a number of tourist attractions and routes to visit the National Park as something for everyone.
